|Speaker Mike Johnson’s attempt to shield the tariffs from scrutiny failed Tuesday night, opening the floodgates to other anti-tariff resolutions.

The House has voted to kill President Trump’s tariffs on Canada after six Republicans broke with the administration to roll back the import taxes. Mr. Trump’s entire tariff scheme could be struck down by the Supreme Court in the coming weeks.
