Justice Department Subpoenas Minnesota State Officials, Accusing Them of Impeding ICE Enforcement

The DOJ is asking for documents related to the state’s immigration enforcement policies, according to reports.

The Justice Department is issuing grand jury subpoenas to the offices of five Minnesota government officials, including the state’s attorney general, Keith Ellison, and the mayor of Minneapolis, Jacob Frey, for what it alleges is a conspiracy to interfere with ICE’s ongoing federal crackdown in the city.
