Mayor Bloomberg was dismissed on his second day of jury duty yesterday, after attorneys passed him up while choosing a panel to hear a personal injury case.

Mr. Bloomberg started his day in a courtroom with about 35 other prospective jurors. He was allowed to leave by early afternoon — but that didn’t stop him from wondering how he’d handle being called for duty if he was president.

“If you’re living at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, do you still get called here?” he joked just after he was dismissed on his second day.
