There are ever more options for lip-gloss aficionados with many new styles and sheens having recently hit the market.
For starters, there’s Eau de Gloss by Bourjois ($15, Sephora, 597 Fifth Ave., between 48th and 49th streets, 212-980-6534). It has a refreshing and non-sticky feel, thanks to its 14% water content. This gloss, which has a brush applicator, comes in eight shades, and promises to keep lips moist for four hours.
Kiehl’s Lip Gloss tubes ($13.50, Kiehl’s, 154 Columbus Ave., between 66th and 67th streets, 212-799-3438) are right in stride with the company’s natural and healthy image. The formula includes mango, grape seed, and rose hip extracts, and there are eight color choices.
Benefit Cosmetics’s 24k Sexy Gold Lip Gloss ($20, Henri Bendel, 712 Fifth Ave., between 55th and 56th streets, 212-904-7960) gives lips an almost blinding shine. It comes with a brush applicator.
