The New York Philharmonic will perform an interactive, free concert on Central Park’s Great Lawn, where audience members will be able to vote for the evening’s encore via text message, the organization announced Thursday.
The concert, led by the conductor Bramwell Tovey and called “Vote for Your Encore,” will be held June 24 at 8 p.m. The encore choices will be announced before the start of the performance, and attendees will be able to cast votes at any point before the end of the concert.
