BASED ON SOMETHING

Playwright Will Eno and actor James Urbaniak read from and discuss Mr. Eno’s critically acclaimed play “Thom Paine (Based on Nothing),” in which Mr. Urbaniak is starring at DR2 Theatre. The senior drama critic forTheatermania.com, David Finkle, serves as moderator. Helen Shaw wrote in The New York Sun, “It’s difficult to figure out why the play is so charming – just as it is with James Urbaniak, the slippery performer – but it will get you all the same.” Tonight, 6 p.m., Drama Book Shop, 250 W. 40th St., between Seventh and Eighth avenues, 212-944-0595 ext. 417 for reservations, free.
