ETCHER SKETCH A professor of art history at the Courtauld Institute of Art, Joseph Leo Koerner,presents a talk on German artist and etcher Albrecht Durer. Titled “Durer’s Hands,” the lecture focuses on the artist’s early work as a personal expression of its creator. ON IRAN Author Lila Azam Zanganeh speaks with the author of “Reading Lolita in Tehran,” Azar Nafisi, and a panel of experts on the question of “Who’s Afraid of Iran?” The discussion centers on the shifting ideas of Iranian identity by citizens and expats, and the complicated perceptions of the Islamic Republic by the rest of the world.
