In his latest volley of personal attacks against Governor DeSantis, President Trump is casting the governor as a globalist in cahoots with characters ranging from Vice President Cheney to the actual Devil in an AI-generated video released Wednesday night.

Mr. Trump has been fishing for the better part of a year for a biting way to mock the man many see as his most credible primary challenger.

After Mr. Trump’s first nickname for Mr. DeSantis “Ron DeSanctimonious” fell flat, he progressed to more crude ad hominem attacks, dubbing the Florida governor “meatball Ron” and “pudding fingers,” to name just a few.

Before last night’s train wreck of a Twitter spaces announcement, Mr. Trump had settled into calling him “DeSanctus” and posting memes in which Mr. DeSantis’s name replaced another Florida governor, Jeb Bush’s, name in fake campaign materials for Mr. DeSantis.

In his latest attack, Mr. Trump leveled up the tech of his trolling, posting an AI-generated video that shows a creative recreation of Mr. DeSantis’s campaign launch on Twitter Wednesday evening.

However, in Mr. Trump’s version of the event, instead of entrepreneur David Sacks and Twitter owner Elon Musk hosting the governor, a colorful cast of characters ranging from Mr. Cheney to the Devil welcomed the governor for his special announcement.

The video opens with AI Mr. Musk welcoming the group before an AI-generated billionaire George Soros chimes in shouting “Hello, is my microphone working correctly.”

The AI Mr. DeSantis then tries to get a word in edgewise, saying “Can I please make my big announcement now,” before the FBI chimes in saying “Okay so how are we going to take out Trump you guys?”

The full cast includes AI versions of Mr. Musk, Mr. DeSantis, Mr. Soros, the Chairman of the World Economic Forum, Klaus Schwab, Mr. Cheney, the führer of the Third Reich, Adolf Hitler, and Lucifer himself.

The video, just a little over two minutes long, mostly features the characters talking over each other, trying to get their microphones to work, coughing, and asking if their microphones work before the AI governor says “I’m running for f*cking president, okay,” to an unenthusiastic audience.

Then, an AI Mr. Trump joins, saying “hold your horses Elon,  the real president is going to say a few words” as Sam and Dave’s song, “Hold On I’m Comin,’” begins to play.

“The Devil — I’m going to kick your ass very soon. Hitler, you’re already dead. Dick Cheney — sounds like you’ll be joining Hitler very soon,” AI Mr. Trump says. “Klaus Schwab and George Soros — I’m putting both your asses in jail.”

“And Ron DeSanctimonious can kiss my big beautiful 2024 presidential ass,” the AI Trump concludes. “Trump 2024 baby, let’s go.”
