Coercion Charge Made In Bell Witness Case

A cleaning service supervisor who allegedly intimidated a witness in the Sean Bell case was arraigned in Queens yesterday.

Melvin Cordero allegedly told the witness, “The building is full of blacks that are going to kill you.”

Mr. Cordero was charged with intimidating a witness in the third degree, coercion in the second degree, and tampering with a witness in the fourth degree.
