Trump Will Never Give Up His Free Enterprise Policies to the Democrats

There are a couple thousand words in today’s New York Times about the Democratic game plan if they win back Congress.By the way, the Democrats will not carry the Senate. Yet if they did, according to the story, the Dems are going to go after affordability. Sure they will. Last time out, they addressed affordability with a $7 trillion big government socialist spending plan. That led to a 21 percent cumulative inflation rise over four years.Now they are pledging, according to the Times, to lower the high costs of groceries, gasoline, and healthcare. You know how they’re gonna do it, folks? Price controls. You wait and see. During the 2024 campaign, Vice President Harris talked openly about price controls. Which is a key part of the socialist playbook. And of course price controls lead to shortages. And ultimately those shortages lead to even higher prices. And there’ll be a full-scale Democratic war on American companies. You wait and see. Democratic socialists don’t like American business.Now, Mr. Trump will never go along with any of this stuff. Believe me, he’s still going to be the president, number one. Here’s what the president said on this subject earlier today: “Well, I think the Republicans are going to win, but if there was, as you call it, gridlock, what happens is I veto everything and then the Democrats come and they want to make a deal. So, we’ll work it out.”Yet if the Dems ever got power back, they will try to roll back the One Big Beautiful Bill and its important work eligibility requirements for able-bodied people on Medicaid and other programs.Mr. Trump will never let them renege on those able-bodied work reforms. He’ll never let them renege on his tax cuts. He will veto all of it if they try. And he’ll continue using executive orders. Trust me on this. At last count, 288 executive orders.The Democrats don’t care about affordability. The centerpiece of their policy driven by the democratic socialists of America is their Medicare for all plan. And abolishing private health insurance like the big beautiful United Auto Workers’ Cadillac insurance plans that Abdul El-Sayed wants to abolish. And those same UAW members won’t like it one bit when the Democratic socialists give healthcare and everything else to illegal immigrants for free. By the way, there’s a $50 trillion tab on that big government socialist plan. It would knock out 14.5 percent of GDP and more than 28 percent of after-tax hourly wages. Republicans should get these numbers out there. And they should aggressively attack Democrats over Medicare for all. And free health care for illegals. This is no time to go wobbly, Republicans.
