A ticker-tape parade through the Canyon of Heroes at Manhattan is scheduled this Thursday for a celebration that has been 53 years in the making. It may take until then to clean up the streets after bedlam erupted across New York on Saturday night in the seconds after the Knicks won its first NBA Championship since 1973.
